Yesterday I was out with some good friends and we went to CVS Pharmacy to buy candy as we made plans to see a drive in movie. I did pick up some good candy but of course I always find myself looking in the beauty and health section. Surprisingly, there was a sale on all Revlon products. I was even more surprised to find that I was able to walk away with 4 new lipsticks for $1.99 each. Talk. About. Score. I’m not entirely sure if CVS meant for the discount to be that deep, even the cashier thought it was a little funny. But hey, I’m not complaining.
The first color I bought was Revlon’s Moon Drops Creme Lipstick in 585 Persian Melon. It is a vibrant pink, and gorgeous when paired with a gold shadow look. The second is also Revlon’s Moon Drops Creme Lipstick in Peach 704 Peach Silk. It is a orange-y peach, and on its own can be used as bold lipcolor for a day time look. The third is Revlon’s Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick in 473 Mauvy Night. It is a deep mauve, its great on its own or paired with a pearl champagne shadow. The fourth is Revlon’s Matte Lipstick in 002 Pink Pout. It is a muted light pink and it’d pair perfect with a smokey eye for an evening look. I’ve tried all the lipsticks but I’m excited to actually wear them. Above is a picture of the lipstick swatches and they are not in any particular order.
I love Revlon lipsticks, they have such a variety of colors and formulas. They are very inexpensive so its easy to experiment with many looks. If you haven’t used a Revlon lipstick before you should definitely give them a try.

Haaaiii girl. Revlon lipsticks are definitely my fav drugstore lipsticks EVER. The matte pink looked sooo good on you, we gotta make another makeup run before you go back to LA!
I own the Revlon Pink Pout AND the Revlon’s Moon Drops Peach Silk. LOVE them both! Peach Silk by itself looks great, in my opinion. But the Pink Pout can be drying so I love to pair it with Victoria’s Secret Peaches lip gloss from the Pout collection. It’s a weird combo, but I love the result.
Thanks lintypocket, sounds like I need to try it!
