I recently discovered Lalicious while reading US Weekly, and I fell in love with the brand. They have these all natural sugar soufflé body scrubs in variety of sweet smelling scents that are both exfoliating and moisturizing. I am one to indulge in my shower experiences because it’s the little time I spend time taking care of my hair and skin, and when I heard about Lalicious Sugar Body Scrubs I was jazzed. Looks like my traditional exfoliator is going to have to move aside!

What’s cool about these sugar body scrubs is the natural ingredients used can be found in your kitchen. The main ingredient used as an exfoliator is pure cane sugar, along with coconut oil, sweet almond oil, essential and fragrance oils, vitamin e oil, soybean oil and honey. The combination of sweet almond oil and vitamin e oil is said to be really moisturizing. No applying lotion after a shower? That’s going to save me a good 7 minutes. And trust me, and an extra 7 minutes to sleep in the morning is better than an extra slice of birthday cake.

Currently Lalicious has 9 different exfoliating sugar body scrubs; Brown Sugar & Vanilla, Coconut Cream, Lily Mango, Passionfruit Lime, Island Guava, Tahitian Flower, Peppermint, Coffee Bean, and Sugar Kiss. They say their highly addictive but I am volunteering to be the judge of that!

Lalicious also offers a collection of body butters, body oils, and body soaps. The body oils are a multipurpose moisturizer, a perfect addition to a relaxing bath. The body butters are nice and thick and can be great for the winter. Their body soaps are sulfate free and that’s important because sulfates can be harsh and irritate your skin. The body moisturizers and soaps are paraben free and that’s great because you know you’re not going absorb any toxic preservatives into your body.

Jessica Kernochan is the face behind the brand and she’s got a very interesting story. She made homemade body scrubs and lotions for her friends and family and turned her craft into a job when the company she worked for folded. Situations like these are blessings in disguise, as it led Jessica to focus on her dream to create a beauty line. She’s outgrown her kitchen and creates her concoctions in a much bigger place to suite her business. A great idea + hard work and dedication = success, and that’s exactly what Jessica has achieved.

Check out their website at http://www.lalicious.com/. If you sign up for an account and subscribe to their newsletter you can receive 15% off your next purchase. What are you waiting for?
